The holidays are here and what better way to enjoy it then with family in your living room. I always host Christmas and we love a full house.
Today I am sharing a tour of my updated living room. I incorporated pieces from Safavieh home. I have been in need of a new coffee table. We have had a tufted one for years and it has been a sitting spot for our kids. As much as I had a sentimental tie to it- it was also time for it to go. I also was never able to put decor on it because it was fabric. I knew I wanted a table that was dark wood to accentuate my sofa.
I decided to first look at the offerings on Safavieh’s website and put a wish list together. I then designed a mock-up of what I wanted my living room to look like after the refresh. I highly recommend rendering a visual for your room before purchasing furniture. My second piece of advice is to measure your furniture as well.
Once I had my visual, I went online shopping to Safavieh’s website.
I wanted chairs angled next to the fireplace to make it a focal point for the room. I also needed a tv console unit that was enclosed and would hide all the electronics. Every time we sat down to watch TV, my eyes were drawn to the open shelves.
Lastly, I wanted to add some side tables, one primarily next to our sitting chair near the fireplace.
The furniture was delivered within days. My coffee table and end tables were fully assembled. Each piece of furniture came with a beautiful product tag and care tag. Their furniture is incredibly well-built, sturdy and beautifully crafted- something that is rare and hard to come by anymore.
The coffee table brought so much warmth to the room and I love the ability to decorate it with seasonal decor. The tv console gave a completely new vibe to the room and conceals all of our electronics. I could not be more happy with the overall transformation.
