Guys like to keep things simple. They are happy with some beer and a burger and usually like to keep things low key. For Father’s Day we stayed home and I got everything delivered to the house from Goldbelly.
I used the kitchen island to spread out the selection of food and the kids helped set the table. We made a menu for each place setting with what their dad would be enjoying for his meal.
Breakfast Menu:
One dozen bagels with assorted cream cheese. I made a bagel holder with dried eucalyptus
We also had cranberry juice and fresh squeezed orange juice and raspberries as an added touch
Fresh fruit Bouquet from 1800Flowers
The fruit bouquet was so adorable. The kids loves that the fruit was shaped into the work dad.
Lunch Menu:
Truffle Cheddar Soft Pretzels
Bison Burgers on Pretzel Buns
Sweet Potato Fries
Smooth Operator Pie
Charcuterie Board
Corn on the Cob
New England Beer Comapny
The burgers were absolutely amazing. I paired them with caramelized onions, mushrooms and provolone cheese. I also toasted the pretzel hamburger buns in the oven.
The sides were sweet potato fries, kettle potato chips and corn on the cob.
What more do you need then family around the table and food made by your loved ones on Father’s Day. It was the perfect day.
